Oregano comes from a wood shrub native to the Mediterranean area. It is steam distilled from the leaves of the oregano plant. It is the world's first, and most natural preservative. Used in 13th century monasteries for its calming effects. Caution: This is a very strong essential oil. DO NOT use it on the skin without first diluting with a carrier oil. Do not use in diffuser.
