Source Removal the Most
Important Step!
Step 1. Remove solids
by scraping-up with spatula, flat piece of cardboard, etc. Avoid extending
contaminated area by working from outer edges of contaminated area inward.
Step 2. Liberally cover
damp area with suitable blotting material such as white terry cloth or
paper towels. Press or stand on damp area to draw moisture up into blotting
material.
Step 3. Clean and decontaminate
effected area by liberally re-moistening with Un-Duz-It Pre-Spotter.
Step 4. Blot decontaminated
area with absorbent material, gently sponge in a small amount of clear
rinse water, and re-blot.
Treatment:
Step 1. Liberally spray
Un-Duz-It onto decontaminated area and work into effected area with a
spoon or soft brush. Apply enough Un-Duz-It to require at least 24 hours
to dry. Allow the area to dry naturally.
Step 2. The
Injection Treatment: for small problems using the 8 ounce non-aerosol
package.
A. With fingers spread and separate carpet
fibers to reveal carpet backing.
B. Use a sharply pointed instrument such
as an awl, ice pick, or nail and carefully poke a hole through carpet,
backing, and padding.
C. Firmly slip-fit the injection tube
into bottle's outlet nozzle.
D. Insert injection tube into hole and
liberally apply Un-Duz-It to the backing of carpet, padding, and floor
surface to allow at least 24 hours to dry.
* For larger problems use the injection
syringe to reach odor sources under carpet.
Step 3. Liberally inject
Un-Duz-It into the crevice between base moulding and walls.
