Developed for and used by Professional Cleaners. Gel Break is a multi-purpose gel for use on carpet and upholstery. Because Gel Break is a gel, not a liquid, it stays on the spot instead of running down into the carpet backing. This natural citrus solvent is effective on a wide range of spots and soils. Nothing is better at getting out chewing gum. Excellent on oil based spots and stains. It's the ideal solvent spotter: very effective but safe for you and family. Use sparingly, a little goes a long way. Apply Gel Break, agitate and rinse with Avenge or water. Sold in a 16 ounce bottle with a flip-top cap.
Product Uses:
For Use On: carpeting, rugs, fabrics, upholstery,
curtains, drapes, car interiors, clothing, boats, clothing, nylon, cotton, acrylic, wool, vinyl, rayon, olefin, polyester, leather, etc.
What Stain-X Can Clean: Gel Break is ideal for oil, grease, tar, ink, gum and other oily spots.
Directions:
Always test fabric/fiber for color fastness in an inconspicuous area.
Oil Based Stains:
Step 1. Remove loose material and blot excess liquid with a clean absorbent cloth.
Step 2. Apply Gel Break full strength to the soiled area. Avoid over application.
Step 3. Work Gel Break into area with a bone scraper, tamping brush or the dull end of a spoon.
Step 4. Allow to dwell 2-5 minutes.
Step 5. Blot or scrape up excess Gel Break. Repeat steps 2-5 if necessary.
Step 6. Blot and rinse the area thoroughly using extraction equipment or clean water then brush fabric to align fibers.
Gum Removal:
Step 1. Puncture or break surface of gum to aid penetration into and under the gum.
Step 2. Apply Gel Break full strength to the gum and allow to dwell for 2-5 minutes.
Step 3. Scrape up gum and excess Gel Break. Repeat steps 2-3 if necessary.
Step 4. Blot and rinse the area thoroughly, using extraction equipment or clean water.
Step 5. Blot or scrape up excess Gel Break. Repeat steps 2-5 if necessary.
