We suggest the e-book only option, not only because it's less expensive, but also because it reduces resource consumption. Delivery of the paperback book may take up to two weeks, depending on the location to which the paperback book will be shipped. Current sales tax regulations require that customers taking delivery of a paperback book in either California or Texas will also need to pay sales tax on the entire purchase amount, but customers in these same states purchasing only the e-book do not need to pay any sales tax. Those customers from all other locations who are purchasing either the e-book only, or the e-book combined with the paperback book, do not pay sales tax.
