Basement Project Examples Burlington, VT Basement - This condo basement was flooding with about two inches of ground water above the floor. First a Saber Sump Pit was installed with a sump pump and drainage piping. Then the basement was coated with Dura-Flex SF using Dura-Lastic and Dura-Lastic Gel to seal floor and wall cracks.
Isle Lamont, VT Basement - This basement was seaping both ground water through the floor and surface water through the walls. Located just 100 feet away from Lake Champlain with seasonal lake level at least four feet above the basement floor. The first step was to grind off all the existing failed coatings and expose the pourous concrete surfaces. The basement then was thuroughly dried. Then a primer coat of Dura-Flex SF was applied. Dura-Lastic mixed with Dura-Lastic Gel was used to seal the floor and wall cracks, voids, and vertical/horizontal cold joints. Two more coats of Dura-Flex SF were then applied. Because of the old condition of the floor a thick Dura-Lastic membrane was applied to the floor and top coated with Dura-Flex SF once again. Sump system was also installed to relieve negative hydrostatic pressure. South Burlington, VT Basement - This basement was seeping ground water and surface water. Basement was demo'd, dried, and cleaned. Three coats of Dura-Flex SF was applied to the block walls and two coats to the floor. Dura-Lastic mixed with Dur-Gel was used to seal cracks and joints. Grand Isle, VT Basement - This basement in Grand Isle, VT was leaking ground and surface water through wall and floor crack and voids. Two coates of Dura-Flex was applied to the floor and walls. Dura-Lastic mixed with Dura-Gel was used to seal cracks and voids.
