The Saber StormPro sump pump kit includes a single pump pit, sump pump, check valve, and a HC8000 electronic pump switch. The HC8000 automatically optimizes sump pump runtime based on water flow rate conditions and has advanced alarming capabilities. This pre-packaged system is designed for efficiency, optimized basement water drainage, improved reliability, long term life, and lower cost.
The drainage products in this package include:
1, Saber single pump pit with clear, gasketed lid. The Saber Pit scavenges ground water quickly while minimizing sediment infiltration. Best sump pit on the market. Can be lowered to any depth by utilizing the 12 inch extensions.
1, StormPro 1/3 HP sump pump draws only 4.5 amps while pumping 50 gallons per minute at a 10 foot head. This StormPro pump is designed to work with the Saber pit to optimize pump cycle time. Typical pump run time is 30 – 45 seconds. Off time is dependant upon water flow rate into the pit. In a typical ground water application it is off for around 15 minutes in a high water table condition. Ground water flow rates are higher if perimeter drain piping is tied into pit.
1, Clear check valve. The clear check valve does not “hammer” or thump when it closes providing quiet operation. Water flow is clearly visible through valve.
1, HC8000 electronic sump pump switch with smart pump control and alarms. The HC8000 is an electronic sump pump switch that significantly improves reliability because the sensor with no moving parts and is guarantied for life. It automatically adjusts pump runtime for water flow condition. Alarm features provide advanced warnings of potential pump failure, pump unplugged, and high water level.
