African Violet Rebel's Splatter Kake
The blossoms on the Rebel's Splatter Kake are single/semi-double pink large fluted star/darker eye, with blue/purple fantasy markings and a white/green picotee edging that is lightly ruffled or fluted. The leaves are a medium green and are quilted and glossy. The Splatter Kake is one of Ruth Bann's spectacular hybrids and is classified as a large violet. Although I love many of Ruth's hybrids, the Splatter Kake is a true favorite of mine.
Any plant that we sell that has a fantasy blossom such as this one is not put up for sale until we see it bloom and make sure that it blooms true. We have been disappointed too many times as consumers ourselves with "kind-of, sort-of, supposed-to-be" fantasy flowers and do not want to disappoint our clients that way.
You will receive a healthy, established plant in a 3-inch pot.
PRICE: $10.00

Phalaenopsis (Phal New Candy X Everspring Girl) X Phal Kiska
Well, this lovely phalaenopsis is one of our hybrids born out of our boredom with your garden-variety, plain, white phals. Patrick made this hybrid to have a deep apricot colored lip. It's very striking. The photo shows two blossoms, representing the two forms of this hybrid, one a clean, clear white and one with faint pink lines on the white blossom. The apricot colored lip is true to both forms. It's a beauty.
This is a well established, blooming size plant in a 5 inch pot.
PRICE: $20.00

Phalaenopsis amboenensis (species) in 3" Pot
This is a seedling from crosses that Patrick Brennan has made from selected parents over the past 20 years. If you've attended orchid shows on the East Coast in the last ten years, it is very likely that you've seen the parents of this plant in show competition.
There are several wonderful attributes to this plant. It's a summer bloomer, it is fragrant producing a lightly spicy aroma, and it has a lovely flower. The blossoms have a strong star shape, and are creamy yellow with mahogany red splashes. The blooms are held above sturdy, medium height spikes. This is a nice plant to have in your collection for those summer months when blooming orchids are few and far between.
This is an established plant in a 3 inch pot.
PRICE: $15.00

The Phal bastianii 'Brennan's Orchids' is a wonderfully prolific, reliable species producing keikis and well-colored blossoms like clockwork. The blossom has a waxy substance, and is creamy white with deep mahogany red striping. There is a suggestion of a purple halo that adds interest. This species has also been known as the Phal deltonii.
This division is blooming size, well established, and in a 3 inch pot.

Phalaenopsis Dtps. Jim 'Brennan's Orchids' AM/AOS in 3" Pot
This is a clone of our awarded Dtps. Jim 'Brennan's Orchids' AM/AOS. This plant is Phal venosa 'Pimlico Copper' X Dor pulcherrima 'Brennan's Orchids' AM/AOS. What a super plant this is. The color is absolutely amazing. The blossoms are saturated in a deep cherry pink. The lip is two-toned, orange-red morphing into a bright fuchsia. It doesn't take up much room, because its habit is to elongate the spike, throwing more buds and blossoms which lets you enjoy a long bloom period. The leaves are moderate in size, too.
This is an established clone in a 3 inch pot.
PRICE: $20.00

Phalaenopsis equestris (species) in 3" Pot
The Phal equestris is a wonderful species from Southeast Asia, particularly the Philippines, that blooms its little heart out. What more can you ask for? It's sturdy and reliable and I think everyone should have one in their collection.
This is an established, blooming size plant in a 3 inch pot.
PRICE: $15.00

Phalaenopsis equestris Peloric (species) in 3" Pot
The Phal equestris is a species originally found in the Philippines and a smattering of them in other parts of Southeast Asia. This plant is dependable and charming and I believe that everyone should own at least one. This plant is the peloric form of the Phal equestris and I just love it. The two petals have decided that they would much rather be lips, resulting in this striking form of the flower.
This is a blooming size, established plant in a 3 inch pot.
PRICE: $18.00

Phalaenopsis Shenandoah Bubba
This is one of our own hybrids, born out of our super-large blossom breeding program. Our goal is to make a white phal with a flower the size of a bread-and-butter plate (approximately 5 inches) and the Shenandoah Bubba is there. We have just measured one of the Bubba blossoms at 5.5 inches across! A very large and flat flowered blossom, this plant produces a good number of pristine, white blossoms. It is of competition quality and I do not say that lightly.
The name may sound odd, but Bubba was a devoted, loving Bernese Mountain Dog that passed too quickly from our lives due to lymphoma. His shining spirit inspired this orchid.
This is a well established, blooming size plant in a 5 inch pot.
