The Center Diamond pattern is one of the oldest and most beloved of all Amish quilt patterns. It is very popular in Lancaster County. It is even the inspiration for the Almost Amish logo!
This Center Diamond is done in traditional Amish colors of burgundy, navy, and hunter green. It is reminiscent of the clothing colors they wear. This just cries out, "Pennsylvania!"
As you can see, the back of the hanging is hunter green and features three loops measuring 1 3/4" x 3/4" to assist in hanging it. A dowel stick is included.
