The pineapple is a symbol of welcome that dates back to the natives of the West Indies that Christopher Columbus and his men encountered. This sculpture would make a lovely centerpiece on a front hallway table, your dining room table, or anywhere else you desire. The pedestal inside measures a flat diameter of 3 3/4" with a raised 1/4" lip around. Place a candle or any knick-knack you might have that you wish to display!
